Webinar: Advocating for Inclusive International Insurance and Emergency Assistance for Travelers

The intersection of Health & Safety with DEI is not a new topic, but what is often overlooked is the role our international insurance and emergency assistance providers can play in advancing our equity and inclusion efforts within international travel. Advocating for the well-being of diverse populations abroad should be a top priority when determining appropriate insurance coverage and assistance vendors. Though we will discuss all university travel populations, special emphasis will be placed on students as we explore considerations that may impact racially diverse populations, LGBTQ+ students, students with high financial need, students with pre-existing health conditions, and more.

In this webinar you’ll, explore the steps to understand organizational structures around insurance policies, gain insight into identifying coverage needs and considerations for diverse populations, receive advocacy tips for more inclusive insurance, and learn ways to identify trends that may impact insurance coverage – all with the goal of enhancing support and services for all of your travelers.

This webinar is approved for 1 PDC SHRM and HRCI course credit.
